Who we are

Cerno is an advertising reporting dashboard operated by Digital Advantage Media (“DAM”, “we”), Bengaluru, India. This policy covers analytics.digitaladvantagemedia.com. Anyone can create an account and connect their own ad accounts; DAM’s own team and the clients whose advertising DAM manages use the same site.

What we collect

  • Your account: email address and a password (stored only as a salted hash by our authentication provider), or, if you sign in with Google, your email address, basic profile and OpenID identifier. Google sign-in does not give us access to your Gmail, Drive, Calendar, contacts or any other Google service.
  • Google Ads, if you connect it: read-only access through the Google Ads API (scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/adwords). We read campaign, ad group, ad, keyword and audience names and their performance figures (impressions, clicks, cost, conversions) for the accounts you choose, and the email address of the Google account you connected.
  • Meta, if you connect it: read-only access with the ads_read permission. We read campaign, ad set and ad names, creatives and their performance figures for the ad accounts you choose, and your Meta user ID and name.
  • Requests you send us: what you type into the “connect your CRM” form.
  • Security logs: sign-ins, connections, disconnections and deletions, with IP address, kept for security.

We never read or store your customers’ personal data from Google or Meta, your payment details, or anything outside the ad accounts you choose.

How we use it

Only to build and show you your own dashboard, refresh it, and answer requests you send us. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, share it with other users, or use it to train AI models. DAM staff do not look at your dashboard unless you ask us to help you.

Accounts Digital Advantage Media manages

If DAM runs your advertising, your dashboard shows the performance of the Google Ads and Meta accounts DAM manages for you, read with DAM’s own agency access, and, where you share one, counts from your lead sheet or CRM. A client login sees only that client’s accounts; DAM staff see the accounts DAM manages. This is checked on our servers on every request. That data is kept for as long as DAM manages the account, under your agreement with DAM.

DAM staff and managed clients can ask an AI assistant questions about the figures on screen; when they do, those figures are sent to the AI provider that answers (Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude or OpenAI). This feature is not available on self-serve accounts, and data received through your Google or Meta connection is never sent to it.

Google API Services

Cerno’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google Ads data is used only to provide the reporting features you see, is not transferred to anyone except as needed to provide those features or as required by law, and is never used for advertising or to train models.

How we protect it

  • Access tokens for Google and Meta are encrypted with AES-256 before they are stored, with the key kept separately from the database.
  • Each account can read only its own data; this is enforced in the database as well as in the application.
  • All traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Data is stored with Supabase and the app runs on Vercel; they process it only to run Cerno for us. We do not sell data or share it with advertisers or data brokers.

How long we keep it, and how to delete it

  • We keep your dashboard data while your account is open.
  • Disconnect a platform in Settings: we revoke our access with Google or Meta and delete its token and the figures built from it.
  • Delete your account in Settings: we revoke access to both platforms and delete your account, tokens and dashboards immediately. Security logs are kept up to 90 days without your user ID.
  • Removing Cerno from your Facebook settings deletes your Meta data too. You can also revoke Google access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
  • Or write to dhruv@digitaladvantagemedia.com and we will delete it within 7 days.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable law. Write to our grievance contact at dhruv@digitaladvantagemedia.com.
